Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

EFT is a highly effective self help tool that was created in the 1980’s that utilizes Chinese medicine meridian system and philosophies dating back over 3000 years. It has been widely studied and proven effective in significantly decreasing stress and emotional triggers while also eliminating negative and limiting beliefs.  This can allow for changing behavior patterns down to the energetic level. Since all matter breaks down to energy and our bodies are made up of energy, it is challenging if not impossible to make significant life changes without addressing the energetic layer. EFT allows us to do just that and can leave us with lasting change and transformation.

Tapping points

The practice of EFT involves tapping on a series of acupressure points while focusing on a particular emotion, physical sensation or traumatic event. The act of tapping while emotion or physical sensation is being experienced in the body and combining words of acceptance, allows the opportunity to free up the stuck energy and emotional experiences that could have been stored in our bodies for decades. During a tapping session I will guide you through releasing emotion around a specific incident or event that is causing distress. This can be used as a daily practice and is very easy to learn to use on your own.
